Volunteering

There is a total commitment to ensuring the very best for every student, every day at Rangeville State School and this philosophy is underpinned by a strong value of ‘partnership’ between staff, parents and the wider community. Parents and community volunteers with a Blue Card are actively encouraged to volunteer for various work across this extensive campus.

Areas in which you may be able to contribute include:

  • Classroom support – helping with reading, craft and other curriculum groups. Please see your child’s teacher.
  • Swimming support - support for swimming lessons is welcomed.  Please see your child's teacher.
  • Tuckshop volunteers – perhaps you would enjoy working with a wonderful group of people on a rostered basis at our school tuckshop which operates each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
  • Grounds care – our hardworking Janitor/Grounds staff already have some fantastic assistance but could always do with more.
  • Office administration – perhaps your skills might be able to assist with the preparation of the weekly newsletter?
  • We are always looking for helpers with our Uniform shop roster.
  • The P&C Association is a positive, friendly and engaging group of parents and friends. They meet in the Resource Room at 6:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month and there is no better way of coming to terms with the values and priorities of Rangeville State School than by attending our meetings.

For more information about how to get involved please contact us.
