The study of English is central to the learning and development of all Rangeville State School students. Through English, students develop knowledge and skills in reading and viewing, writing, listening and speaking.
The Australian Curriculum in English is organised into the three interrelated strands of:
1. Language - knowing about the English language and how it works
2. Literature - understanding, appreciating, responding to, analysing and creating literature
3. Literacy - expanding the repertoire of English usage.
We have a strong focus on developing the basics in reading, writing and spelling.
